Photograph caption dated May 15, 1964 reads, "Mrs. Barry Goldwater, seated, wife of the Arizona senator running for the Republican nomination for the presidency, was honored yesterday at Pasadena's Huntington Sheraton Hotel by representatives of some 40 Southland communities. With Mrs. Goldwater are, from left, Mrs. Robert Leaman, the North Hollywood hostess; Mrs. Robert Gaugenmaier of Toluca Lake; Mrs. Edward Largey of Burbank and Mrs. Robert Earle of Encino."
