Kashnor notes,"Shows the North-West Coast to Alaska and Cape Prince of Wales, and in California locates San Francisco and the Mission of San Luis, San Antonio, San Gabriel, San Juan and San Diego; also shows the Missouri, according to Lewis and Clark." Plate [Platte] River is shown flowing from eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains as are tributary streams of the Missouri. Prime meridian: GM. Relief: hachures. Graphic Scale: Miles.
