Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on January 23, 1970 states: "North Lake Tahoe and Truckee residents got a breather yesterday from almost two weeks of warm, wet weather and prepared again for a predicted weekend storm with only slightly lower freezing levels. Outflow from the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District Dam was increased yesterday to 1,200 cubic feet per second as a result of the severe Sierra rainstorms."
