In the foreground, a crowd of people is grouped together either sitting down or standing in well-dressed clothes while posing and looking towards the direction of the viewer. Most of them are wearing leis around their necks and hats with a small label that says "S.S. OHIO". A bearded man, sitting among the group, is noticeably holding a teddy bear. To the left, a few men are noticeable while sitting with their instruments in front of the group. In the background, a house surrounded by palm trees and additional trees is observable.
