Description
Fifteen scenes chronicle the first battle of Shanghai, commonly referred to as the "January 28 Incident" or the "Shanghai War of 1932", where Japanese forces invaded Shanghai without declaration. The main defence forces of Shanghai was the 19th Route Army led by Commander Cai Tingkai, depicted in the upper left corner.
