View of the Bombardment taken from the Presidio in San Francisco. A mock military battle staged on July 3rd, 1876, in honor of the US Centennial anniversary. Sea battle on the San Francisco Bay is pictured, many sailing vessels are visible. Spectators are seated on a grassy hillside in the foreground, several have horse-drawn wagons or carriages, and one tent is in the midst.
