Photograph caption dated September 28, 1963 reads "Odis Goad, custodian at Brett Harte Elementary School, takes a firm grip on an opossum caught as it wandered through backyards on Lima St., Burbank. Charles Fitzpatrick, with the help of two neighbors, caught the toothy animal on a fence Thursday night and held it in a box while animal authorities decided what to do with it. The custodian came across the street from the school to see the animal."
