Another "Upside Down" celebrity. The gentleman on the ground is Sam J. Garrett, world's champion fancy roper, on May 11, 1928. He will demonstrate his skill at Azusa. In this picture he is swinging two ropes, one to catch the horse and the other the rider, while they pass the inverted champion at a dead run.
