Photograph caption dated March 1, 1960 reads, "Nearly a score of stands such as trio shown are used at Rocketdyne's Propulsion Field Laboratory in Santa Susana Mountains for static testing of high-thrust missile engines. Anchored in bedrock, stands are able to handle tremendous thrust of engines simulating actual missile flight. Helicopter hovering above site was conducting industrial survey through facilities of National Helicopters, Inc., of Glendale."; See images #00118365 through #00118366 for all photos in this series.
