Description: Denudation by forest fire of upper reaches of the Cold Creek watershed in the Santa Monica Mountains. Only a few months before this was heavily wooded with elfin forest growth of more than 15 feet height. Seen from the Saddle Peak Road at the summit of the Santa Monica Mountains.
