Photograph caption dated March 28, 1950 reads, "John Burnett and Gwen Edwards, both representing North Hollywood Lions Club, on left, are winners of sing contest in which Reba Elston and Ken Jenkins, San Fernando Lions representatives, also competed. Contest took place at meeting of clubs at Bagdad Cafe, North Hollywood. Winners will compete with other Lion Club singers in Valley. Finals are scheduled for April 18 at Valley Park Country Club."
