Description
Photograph of an exterior view of Hornitos Lodge Number 98 in Mariposa County, ca.1930. The lodge, erected in 1860, appears to be made of stone with two sets of double doors in the front wall. The sign hangs over an awning and a wooden fence extends from the right side to the Masonic building on the right. A person stand outside the two-story, brick building under a shingled awning. "The upstairs is a hotel, the lower is a fire department". Several other structures can be seen further down the road while several trees stand in the background on the right.
