Jesus Pacheco (photo donor's granduncle) is dressed in a pinstripe suit with cuffed hems and ankle boots. He is sitting cross-legged oustide on a chair that is placed in-between plants. He was a resident of Belvedere Township in what is now East Los Angeles. He helped build L.A. City Hall in the 1920s. The photo was taken in the 1920s.
