Photograph of the Exchange Block of Pasadena, located on the northwest corner of Colorado and Fair Oaks. In this area are the Carleton Hotel and the E. C. Webster & Company. Several offices located on the second floor of the Hotel were used as the first City Council Room in 1887. Next to the Carleton are three commercial businesses: a hardward store, Craig and Hubbard's grocery, and the Pasadena Shoe Store.
