Description
Camarilo's first City Council, circa 1964. Pictured, from left to right: Councilman Guy M. Turner; Councilwoman Tweedy Rouse; Mayor Earl M. Joseph; Councilman Stanley J. Daily; Councilman Ned A. Chatfield; and City Assesor (?) Adele Flynn. The location of this Council meeting is unknown, although it appears to have taken place inside a classroom. A long blackboard can be seen behind the council members, with a map resting along it; a clock above that reads 7:09. A "Pleasant Valley Recreation & Parks Dist." sign is visible under the American flag, on the right side of the blackboard. Photo dated: 1964.
