Description: Aerial view of the coastline looking south with the Ballona Creek seen emptying into the Santa Monica Bay near Marina Del Rey and Playa Del Rey in Los Angeles, California.
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). "City of Santa Monica"--text, partially obscured in margin. Title based on note from donor Ernest Marquez. Date approximated by cataloger based on development of area; Ballona Creek was lined with concrete as a flood-control channel in 1938.
