Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated June 15, 1961 reads, "A geyser spurted for nearly one hour at Sherman Way and Woodley avenue, Van Nuys, after an auto accident which knocked down a fire hydrant. Three fire department units responded at 3:45 p.m. The flow was shut off at 4:43. Driver Robert Trout, 20, 15929 Hartland St., Van Nuys, was treated for minor injuries and released by Valley Receiving Hospital."
