Description
The case of Gordon Hirabayashi is laid out in this 2 page pamphlet by the Gordon Hirabayashi Defense Committee. Gordon Hirabayahi, an American citizen born and raised in Seattle refused to register during the time of Japanese evacuation, when people of Japanese heritage were required to do so. He maintained that was against his civil liberities and was defended by attorney Frank Walters.
