Mrs. Fay Berge cleaned house and even cleaned out her closet, tossing out an old show box with the rest of the trash. At the Coliseum, Mrs Berge's cheers for the home team suddenly became a gasp of concern. She remembered that the shoe box contained her nest egg--$1700 in $100 bills. Yesterday, Mrs. Berge went to the police. They suggested she try the dump. There Mrs. Berge learned that her $1700 was buried forever at the bottom of a refuse pile. Photo dated: June 10, 1960.
