Description
Photograph of the painting "Ave Maria" by Wapjer depicting nuns crossing water in a boat, [s.d.]. A long row boat makes its way across still waters at the center of the image. Two nuns stand up at the middle, their hands clasped in prayer over a coronet of flowers on a plank in front of them. In the back, a man sits, watching them. To the front, a young girl rows standing up. A shore town and mountains are fainly visible in the distance.
