Description
Photograph of the remains of an adobe mill in the Arroyo Hondo located on the Rancho El Refugio del Ortegas, September 5, 1937. A squat shack made of adobe brick is shown nestled against a hill at left, just in front of what appears to be a lush tree. Several of its walls have collapsed into rubble, and wooden beams can be seen propped up against the remaining walls. The wooden roof, however, appears relatively well kept.
