Description
This 1920 map and promotional advertisement lays out the grid of Sacramento's Boulevard Park neighborhood, bordered by B to H streets and Twentieth to Twenty-Third. From dairy pasture and race track (Sutter Jockey Club and Union Race Track) in the nineteenth-century to burgeoning neighborhood from 1905 to 1915 to posh urban forest in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, Boulevard Park has been one of Sacramento's longest-standing residential neighborhoods. Denoted at the bottom of the map is the Wright and Kimbrough real estate firm.
