Image shows view of John Pedersen residence, located on Via Ramon on lot 2 and a portion of lot 3, block 1713, tract 6885 in Malaga Cove. View looking east shows front of the two-story, seven-room stucco house with tile roof and attached two-car garage. Building permit records "L.A. Platt" as designer; photographs attribute Hammond Sadler as landscape architect. House, also known as the "Big" Hart house, was later sold (by 1929) to Alden L. and Anne I. Hart, who engaged the Olmsted brothers as landscape architects for the property. A second "Little" Hart residence was located at 2616 Via Campesina.
