Description
"Elias und seine Leute in Xentu" ("Elias and his people in Xentu"). Five people, two women on the left side and three men on the right side, are standing on a road. Around them are round, thatched houses. On the left side, a woman, wearing a light-coloured dress, is going inside a house. On the right side, a car is parked behind a house. The surrounding is marked by a hilly landscape.
Samuel Baudert (1879-1956), born as son of the missionary Samuel Baudert in South Africa, was mission director of the Moravian Church from 1924 to 1927 and since 1929 their bishop.
