Photograph caption dated October 31, 1956 reads, "George Brinkworth, left, senior electrical system operator for Burbank, shows John E. Canaday, chairman of the Burbank Citizens Power Bond Committee, how electrical use hit 71,200 kilowatts Monday at 5:30 p.m. Canaday's committee is urging passage of Proposition 2 to provide 40,000-kilowatt addition to Burbank system."
