Description
Connie and Bernice begin the interview discussing MLK Jr.’s legacy as a prophet, and how America has not yet learned to live up to MLK’s principles. Bernice goes on to discuss women’s and young people’s roles in society and how she helps people at her church in Atlanta before discussing what has motivated her personally. Bernice proceeds to talk about getting through difficult times in life with the power of God and relates her views regarding the heritage of African Americans, and her trip to Africa. She then discusses her writing process for sermons and speeches, and Connie has her read from the end of her book. Bernice concludes the interview discussing what her future plans are, and Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
