Kenneth Hopper writes Mr. B. Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., saying that he visited Mr. S. Nagasaki and showed him his album of Japan. Hopper says he has given two lectures on his visit to Japan and that he may be able to publish one or two articles on the visit before the end of the year. He states that he would like to be able to write to some people inside and outside of Sumitomo to ask them about the development of Japanese management after about 1955. Hopper shares that the University of Michigan would like to have his CCS (Civil Communications Section) documents for its Japan archives. He goes on to say that he is trying to relate economic growth to management in Europe, the United States, and Japan over the last 30 years.
