Title supplied by cataloger. The Sunset Handicap is an annual race for American Thoroughbred horses held during the third week of July at Hollywood Park Racetrack in Inglewood, California. It is open to horses, age three and up, who are willing to race one and one-half miles on turf. Originally started as the Aloha Handicap in 1938, it was renamed the Sunset Handicap in 1940. Photograph caption dated August, 1988 reads, "Jockey Fernando Toro is a happy man after guiding Roi Normand to a Sunset Handicap victory at Hollywood Park's final running of the season."
