Photograph of the Ramo-Wooldridge Corporation Building under construction, Westchester, November 10, 1954. The building stands at center with just its skeletal frame standing. Wheelbarrows are leaned against the frame with a pile of dirt and other supplies to the right of them. Several men stand in front of a truck on the far left while two men work on the roofs of the building. Caption reads: "Completion of center buildings of new Ramo-Wooldridge 150,000-square-foot facility in the Los Angeles International Airport area is expected this winter, adding to the Company's present 40,000 square feet of office and laboratory space. Expansion has been made necessary by the growth of important contract work the Company is doing for the armed forces in development of military electronics and guided missle systems, plus applicatoin of electronics systems in business and industry".
