Photograph of an interior view of the Coconut Grove Nightclub and Restaurant in the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, 1920-1929. The large room is decorated with scores of fake palm trees. Small tables with white tablecloths can be seen packed into the foreground, while in the middle ground, hundreds of people can be seen dancing. The room is lit with candles and everyone is dressed nicely in black-tie attire.
