Photograph included in the exhibit: "From Hula Hoops to Hanoi: L.A. Concerns, 1954-1965."
Photograph article dated May 13, 1963 reads, "Saturday night the 27-year-old left-hander struck out only four but pitched a perfect game until the eighth inning. He retired 22 batters in order before walking catcher Ed Bailey." Photograph caption reads, "Koufax overcomes that sore finger and Giants for no-hit shutout victory. Studio City resident misses perfect game on eigthth [sic]-inning walk Saturday night." See images 00082878 and 00082879 for additional photos in this series.
