Photograph article dated May 13, 1963 reads, "Saturday night the 27-year-old left-hander struck out only four but pitched a perfect game until the eighth inning. He retired 22 batters in order before walking catcher Ed Bailey." Photograph caption reads, "Koufax overcomes that sore finger and Giants for no-hit shutout victory.
