Felix Ombagho and Rossatanga travelled with Elie Allégret and Urbain Teisseres when they explored the Gabon from 1889 to 1891, before the Société des missions évangéliques de Paris (Paris evangelical missionary society) decided to resume the missionary work of the Board of foreign Missions of the presbyterian Church of the USA.
