Description
Exterior view of Point Fermin Lighthouse, the State's only surviving 19th century lighthouse. The structure was built 98 years ago at Point Fermin as guide to mariners and is declared a national monument and now eligible for restoration funds. Nearly a century old, the lighthouse on Palos Verdes seacliffs is used as school camp by the Los Angeles City Schools District. Photo dated: July 8, 1972.
