Description: Exterior view of Point Fermin Lighthouse, the State's only surviving 19th century lighthouse. The structure was built 98 years ago at Point Fermin as guide to mariners and is declared a national monument and now eligible for restoration funds. Nearly a century old, the lighthouse on Palos Verdes seacliffs is used as school camp by the Los Angeles City Schools District. Photo dated: July 8, 1972.
