Description
Photograph of several men harvesting potatoes, along Downey Road, west of Produce Terminal Market (Riverside County?), on June 7, 1930. Three men kneel amidst rows of potatoes, pulling them from the ground and filling wooden buckets and sacks with them. At the right side of the harvesting area, a man in a hat bends over to spill a bucket of potatoes into a large sack. Further down, several other people are seen at work. In the distance, the lines of utility poles string past a tall tower. An area with house-like structures appears at the far right.
