In: Scenes of Santa Clara Valley Front and center stands Master Eben Coe in front of a painted background; face surrounded by ringlets and a bow on the right side of his head and topped by a felt triangular Napoleon-style hat; Master Eben is dressed in a sailor suit with a large bow at the end of the collar; the pants are knee-length; he has sox and two-colored shoes with large bows as ties. "aged 2 1/2 years 1904" -- handwritten. Son of Leontine and Charles Willard Coe, part of Coe family. Family owned cattle ranch in San Jose area (San Felipe Valley, Pine Ridge).
