Photograph of caballeros in the La Fiesta Parade in Los Angeles, ca.1897. A group of horsemen dressed as boleros, Indians and cowboys makes its way in no particular formation down the paved street, in which streetcar rails can be seen. Spectators stand along the sidewalk in the background, beneath the cloth canopies of shop fronts. Legible signs include: "C. H. Royston", and "Drugs".
