Description
This basketball game brochure accompanied a game between the Sacramento Senators and the Oakland Bittners on January 26, 1947, which the Bittners won. The Senators were active for four seasons between 1945-1948 and often drew in sellout crowds of 5,000 people within Memorial Auditorium, located on J Street. The Senators disbanded when their owner and coach, Dave Kelly, opted to go into professional baseball with the Stockton Ports of the California League. He would later go on to co-own the Sacramento Solons.
