A view of the Chinese Theatre and Hawaiian Village at the California Midwinter International Exposition in San Francisco. The theater is a two-story building with an additional two story tower in the style of a pagoda above the main entrance on the right. The large circular building on the right houses a cyclorama of "Kilauea, the burning volcano", in which visitors could stand in the center of a fully-surrounding painted vista of the landscape around the Kilauea volcano. Date supplied by cataloger, based on the year of the Exposition. One of forty-eight glass plate negatives originally housed together with a note by Latta: "Frank Robinson Merced Area Misc. Unidentified."
