Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated August 22, 1963 reads, "An air tanker dumps a borate solution on flames raging in a brush-covered area northeast of Vinevalley Dr. above Roscoe Blvd. in Sun Valley Wednesday as eight companies of firemen fight the blaze from the ground. No homes were threatened in the fire which blackened 20 acres of brush before fire fighters brought it under control."
