V1p269c -- v1p269d In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 269 center, right, and bottom. These photographs are contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written next to photos: "'Art' Smith performing his various stunts over the P.P.I.E. grounds-September 1915." Two views of Art Smith flying his plane. The photo on page 269 center right shows the plane flying in over a stand with loudspeakers containing signs announcing when Charles F. Niles and Silvio Petirosi would be flying from there. The photo at the bottom of the page shows Smith's plane flying through the air and emitting smoke. " 'Art' Smith" is written on the photo.
