Photograph caption dated March 6, 1965 reads, "A Saugus man with 14 years in the reserves, Rudolph Hendrick, finds the pressures keeping a submarine afloat are relaxing. The reservist thought regular duty kept him away from his family too much, but enjoys the one weekend a month required duty for the submarine reserve. On his right is another reservist, Richard Affleck, of Palos Verdes."
