Description
A group of Contras are walking on a road along the Honduras-Nicaragua border. They are carrying Belgian FN FAL and Kalashnikov-type assault rifles. Two of the Contras are wearing bandoliers across their chest. On the right side of the image there is a group of Contras preparing equipment. Next to them an FN FAL rests on the equipment. They are all members of the Nicaraguan Democratic Force (FDN in Spanish), whose members are informally known as "Contras."
