Description
Image of a decorative advertisement for gun maker John Krider's Sportmens Depot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The decorative title is located in the center of the print, and below it is an image of two men with hunting gear and hunting dogs, shown sitting with dead game. To the right of the men and dogs, is another man shown seated and fishing by a body of water. The central image is enclosed by six small vignettes around the borders, and a horizontal vignette towards the top of the title. Images include scenes of dogs hunting game, men fishing, men shooting at game and deer, and geese flying.
Probable date range based on other copies of this print housed at libraries and archives (Stanford, American Antiquarian Society, Lewis & Clark College, and more).
