Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated March 8, 1962 partially reads, "An unsuspecting plant driver was the subject of some special attention Wednesday at the Van Nuys Chevrolet plant. He drove the one-and-one half millionth Chevrolet out of the plant. And for performing what he considered to be a routine chore, driver Francis Hobart, 25, Van Nuys, received a crisp new $50 bill as a reward. Plant manager Harry Prentice flagged Hobart down as he drove the white Belair sedan off from the assembly line and made the presentation. A throng of photographers crowded around. Flash bulbs popped, and an historic milestone was recorded."
