Description
This 1998 photo shows the pediment of the Andrew Ross Mausoleum at Sacramento's Old City Cemetery at 10th Street and Broadway. The plot belonged to the Ross family. Andrew Ross came to Sacramento from Bavaria in 1853 when he was in his early 20s. Prior to dying in 1901, he was a butcher with Ross and Ankener. The cause of death is cited as a "fall with dislocation of spine."
