Thompson, a club junior member, quickly was followed by Bob Westerfield, Skip Smith, Al Clark, Andy Demko, Earl Davis, Clint Dow, Bix Blaufuss, Lloyd Jones, Jim Smith, Dick Hyllyer, Joe Peters, Dick Cautenau, all from the Encino area. The beauteous queen shown here with Thompson and Barber is Joan Barber who will be at the first tee to wish each player luck."
