Description: A stretch of Sixth Street, between J and K Streets, is shown in this circa 1960 photograph. The Trutime Watch Shop at 1027 Sixth Street, the Victory Laundry at 1027 Sixth Street, and United Shoe Shop at 1029 Sixth Street are all visible. Takeo and Dorothy Mitsu Takeuchi owned the Trutime Watch Shops which also had locations on 7th and on Florin. Demitrios Smpardos founded United Shoe Shop in 1928.
