With the dime letter chains having almost died out, the latest "share the wealth" scheme to hit Los Angeles county is the "dollar scramble" which started in Glendale and has mushroomed over the county into Hollywood and other outlying communities. It seems Mrs. Rosenfeld doesn't believe everyone mails his chain letters, so persons desiring to share in the new scheme must come to her office and pay $1 each.
