Photograph caption dated May 20, 1960 reads, "Mrs. Frances Eilers and her daughter, Joy, 26, feed horse on their Granada Hills ranch where Beverly Aadland will live as ward of Juvenile Court. Mrs. Eilers' husband is minister." The article partially reads, "Beverly Aadland moves from Juvenile Hall Monday to the home of a Granada Hills minister and his wife...The last protege of the late Errol Flynn will be the latest in the more then [sic] 100 youngsters from broken homes taken in by the Eilers in the last 10 years at their North Rim Ranch. 'Beverly will share a room with my daughter, Joy. (Joy is 26.) We want to giver her a normal home life,' said Mrs. Eilers."
